I follow a structured design process, but I don’t treat it as fixed.

Instead, I adapt it continuously to fit the context of each problem. Every project brings different constraints, stakeholders, and unknowns, so the process must evolve alongside them.

Lately, I’ve also been interested in AI as a creative building material, using it in projects like my digital garden, the chatbot on the home page an ACO-based game, and a modular schedule builder.

IT SHORTENS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THINKING AND DOING

I deeply believe everything is a learnable skill, and AI has become the fastest feedback loop I've found.

KNOWING IT'S PATTERN RECOGNITION CHANGES HOW I USE IT

Training it on the right data, using it as a sparring partner when ideas are still forming, to pressure-test a direction, or to surface edge cases I might have missed.

AI DOESN'T REPLACE MY PROCESS

I know when to bring it in and when to stay hands-on. The goal is always better thinking, faster learning, and more time for the work that actually needs a human.

DESIGN TOOLKIT

In-Depth Interviews

1:1 conversations, focus group discussions and intercepts that are guided by thoughtful prompts. Talking to users and stakeholders move us towards uncovering user needs, motivations and insights.

Contextual Observation

Observing and participating in real user environments help distinguish actual behaviors from assumptions. Being in context with the stakeholders sheds light on unseen challenges.

Quantitative Surveys

I use quantitative methods to validate and scale early insights, helping prioritize features and measure patterns across larger audience. Familiarity with Qualtrics, Teams and Survey Monkey

Collaborative Workshops

Design is a team effort. I facilitate sessions that align stakeholders, build ownership, and move ideas forward. Facilitation is an art (read more about what I think about facilitation here)

Business Strategy & Storytelling

Connecting user needs to viable business models ensures solutions are not only desirable, but sustainable. Finding a way to tell these stories that make an impact is what gives design legs to stand on.

Experience Framing & Validation

I use user journeys, service blueprints, personas and jobs to be done to define and test what people are trying to accomplish. I also test the plot through service pilots that create a continuous loop from insights to validation.
